The 6/14 Arty is officially open but is still a work in progress. We hope that it will soon take form and someday proudly stand as a testament to the brave men of the 6th Battalion 14th Artillery Regiment.

The 6/14

"I tried to include pictures of the people in the different locations with the hope if people
see them and recognize friends they will contact the site."  - Earle Smith -
Earle Smith and Cpt. Marcus Anderson with the Smasher 8 at the Oasis November '67

Earle wrote, "I have included pictures of Smasher 8.  This was a liaison section of the 6/14.
I first went there (at Jackson Hole) at the end of October '67 or the beginning of November.
We moved the day after I got there to the Oasis.  Captain Anderson was in charge.
I believe his first name was Marcus."
He went on to say, "Around January '68 I was sent to B Btry FDC and was at Soui Doi During Tet.
B Btry then moved to Dak To and later to Ben Het.  Around Sept. of '68 I was sent to the new D Btry
at the Oasis.  Our Captain was Cpt. Verdel."

Once again another member of the 6/14 lands a direct hit with some excellent photographs.
Thanks Earle.
